In understand Ubuntu Gnome comes preinstalled and preconfigured with AMD apps.
Please confirm support for CachyOS with KDE Plasma, and if there will be a playbook for it.
I’m looking forward to picking up my Halo in July and want to hit the ground running.

Hello, AMD only officially supports Ubuntu 24.04 (the preconfigured version), so CachyOS/KDE isn’t on the support list and there’s no AMD guide for it. Good news though, CachyOS is Arch-based and rolling, so it already has the kernel (6.18.4+) and ROCm 7.2 gfx1151 support you need, so it’ll work, just without official AMD backing. I can suggest to increase the GTT limit to use more of the 128GB for LLMs. Congrats and Enjoy your Halo!
