Hi, everyone!
I’ve noticed that the number of posts has increased over the last couple of months, and it’s genuinely encouraging to see so many people joining and contributing to the community.
Look at this community statistics, the most members ~80% are learning or building prototypes:
It’s also quite understandable that many of us make use of AI tools in our projects, and even writing posts. For those of us who aren’t native English speakers (myself included), such tools can be particularly helpful for improving clarity and grammar.
That said, I’ve begun to notice a gradual increase in posts that appear to be heavily AI generated. While AI can be a good helper, I do wonder what impact this might have over time on the quality of discussions and on the learning process particularly technically demanding topics (kernels, HPC, quantum simulation/computation etc.)
I’d be very interested to hear how others in the community view this.
Where do you personally draw the line when it comes to using AI in you work or posts?
How might we strike a balance between convenience and maintaining thoughtful, experience-based contributions?
This isn’t intended as criticism of ai use, but rather an invitation to reflect on how we, as a community, would like to approach it going forward.
