ZenDNN: High-Performance Deep Learning on AMD CPUs

ZenDNN is AMD’s deep learning acceleration library designed to deliver high-performance inference and training on AMD CPUs. Built with a focus on efficiency and scalability, ZenDNN optimizes key deep learning primitives to help developers extract maximum performance from modern CPU architectures.

With the ZenDNN 5.1 release, AMD introduced new optimizations that further improve performance across popular deep learning workloads. These enhancements focus on better utilization of CPU capabilities, improved kernel performance, and smoother integration with existing AI frameworks, making ZenDNN well-suited for both enterprise and developer workflows.

ZenDNN is fully open source and available on GitHub, enabling developers to explore, contribute, and integrate the library into their AI stacks. For those looking to get started quickly, AMD also provides an overview video that walks through ZenDNN’s capabilities and usage.
